Resumen

Here, we introduce a newly developed and easy-to-use toolbox for modeling magnetization curves in MATLAB. The tool implements the physically based approach recently proposed by Silveyra and Conde Garrido to describe the ideal anhysteretic curve. The equation of state is simple and, at the same time, accurate, as has been demonstrated for various material scenarios. MagAnalyst first plots a set of curves to help identify the number of magnetic components to model. It then finds the model parameters without requiring programming or optimization skills from the user. As a result, noisy data from the most challenging scenarios can be accurately described with a single analytical function in which both magnetization and susceptibility are continuous and differentiable. We believe MagAnalyst can be a valuable resource for the magnetic materials community.
